Traditional Timber Works will construct cabins or timber frames from new timber of our own design and offer them for sale. Both homeowners and contractors are invited to consider inclusion of an original cabin or frame in their upcoming project. All structures feature traditional wood joinery and are self-supporting structures. These designs are unique and reflect spaces suitable for any need, though they strictly adhere to the innate stability of traditional aesthetics. There are no fasteners used, metal or other, besides gravity and trunnels (wooden pegs).
These structures can provide an ambitious self-builder with a skeleton on which their efforts will stand for generations to come, or Traditional Timber Works can complete your project using our experience to provide you with a hand-crafted heirloom building.

Sheduled to be cut and raised in Fall '08, this frame can be used as a lofted single floor structure allowing for a unique vantage point for sunset and star gazing. Or can be adapted to serve as a multi storey structure suitable for lake and country retreats.
